Travel to Kathmandu:  The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) is taking a more active role in providing transportation options for tourists caught outside Kathmandu and unable to move due to the lockdown across the country.  They have been organizing both flights and buses out of Pokhara and flights out of Lukla.  They have set up a new process by which the respective Embassies in Nepal can notify them about their citizens’ status who are in areas outside the main tourist areas.  For further information please see the NTB website: https://www.welcomenepal.com/ And, please note the email address if you find you need to reach out to them: crisiscell@ntb.org.np

Quarantine Information:  Suspected cases already in the country will also be quarantined for 14 days.

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) https://www.welcomenepal.com/ has introduced a ‘Just in Case’ card with all the important numbers and email id for queries regarding COVID-19. This will be distributed from the Immigration Counter at TIA and from all entry points to Nepal.
